Maryland based designer Silvia Huezo is a graduate of the Marymount University fashion design program. Her interest in fashion began while in High School where she began designing and creating her own unique wardrobe. In 2005 she entered Marymount University and graduated with a BA in Arts. Future plans include a denim line and a retail location. Her inspiration comes from popular culture as well as ethnic cultures, music, art, high fashion, films and social activism. She believes that fashion is a medium that can be used to convey positive messages and serve society in a productive manner. In 2009 her designs were featured in
