Night of Style at Red Hue Boutique Kentlands

In honor of bringing style back to the suburbs, we held a fashion show
at our Kentlands location on January 25th, 2013! The show debuted our Spring 2013
collection along with other must-have spring ensembles. In attendance
was Mayor Sidney A. Katz  and other Gaitherburg officials who proclaimed
January 25th as "Red Hue Boutique Day"! In between sets, the talented
Rockville native,ten year old Ashlinn Kivlighn sang covers of Taylor Swift and
Adele as well as her original songs. Special thanks to our photographer and co-producer of the show Gedalia Vera from Mundovision Media and make up artist Lalaine Boyagjan from Motives Cosmetics! We at Red Hue thrive from our community and love to celebrate fashion with
you!

Mommy Appreciaton Night

This past December was a busy one! One of our favorite events of the month was the BABY BOOT CAMP ( ROCKVILE, BETHESDA, POTOMAC)  MOMMY APPRECIATION NIGHT! Along with Jouvence Aveda in Rockville Town Square, we pampered the baby boot camp mommies with beauty, fashion, and a little wine during this festive event! BBC was also celebrating their 2nd year Anniversary! We enjoyed the night along with Malu the franchise owner and all the ladies that came to celebrate!

Hello RedHue followers!  I'm sorry we havent been blogging much lately. We've been so busy with the  opening of our new shop.

The Business of Fashion Networking Event SUMMER EDITION

One of our more recent events was at The Rooftop in Rockville (right across the street from our boutique!) Models, photographers, designers and anyone in the industry (or not) showed up for drinks and fashion. There was a DJ, free makeovers by Motives and a beautiful view of the Rockville Town Square. The fashion show was such a hit that we had to open up the shop exclusively for one attendee who was so excited to purchase one of the favorite looks of the night - sleek and stylish Ark & Co. slacks in parrot green paired with a flowy, cream-colored Ark & Co. chiffon blouse.

Afternoon of Fun in Rockville Town Center

What's one fun advantage of being next door neighbors with Toy Kingdom? Being able to take a moment out of your day to hug and pose with fun characters like Curious George! Which is exactly what Red Hue Boutique owner Silvia Huezo did when Curious George came down to visit in March. There's never a dull moment in Rockville Town Center.

The Business of Fashion Networking : Event at Red Hue Boutique

While Red Hue Boutique is known for its great customer service and high-quality, unique and uber-chic merchandise, they are always looking to host and be apart of events occurring in the fashion world. A few months back, on January 17, Red Hue Boutique and DC Magazine hosted a mini-seminar on branding, marketing and promoting for designers, photographers, bloggers, MUAs, hairstylists, retail entrepreneurs, and others involved in the dynamic business of FASHION. The event featured guest speakers Kristin Ikenson, from DC Magazine, Katherine Martinez, from La Petite Marmoset, and surprise guest speaker Deidre Jeffries, from ESPION Atlier. As if these guests weren't enough of a treat, there was also a complementary mani bar by GEORGE BACCHUS SALON & SPA and free mini make-overs by MOTIVES make up artists.

Beauty in Bloom

A lot has been going on since 2012 started! Back in February we had a Beauty in Bloom Fashion show. It took place in our boutique and it was a huge success! The event showcased the Spring 12 line. There were swag bags, giveaways and workshops. An extra bonus: makeovers by Motives by Loren Ridinger. The fun did not stop there either. There was a 30% discount on must-have merchandise. RedHue loves to have a good time and the Beauty in Bloom Fashion Show was just that.

Generation Latina

November was a busy month for us at Red Hue Boutique. From fashion shows to photoshoots to interviews. This time I got to chat and share my story with Generacion Latina. Oh the Holidays!

My FAVORITE time of the year! The smell of cinnamon and mint in the air, the lights, the trees, the red and green, family, friends, love. I got a little creative this time around and came up with an idea for the coolest Christmas tree ever (see photo below.)
